Newly Available Western Americana Collections @ Bancroft

The Magnes’ Western Americana archival collections continue to become available to researchers in the reading room of the Bancroft Library. For a complete list of collections that are now open to researchers please visit our website. Just today the following important collections were added to the list:

San Francisco Jewish Community Center records, 1877-1979. (Link to the OAC Finding Aid)

Florence Prag Kahn and Julius Kahn family papers, 1852-1948.

Harris Weinstock papers, 1878-1922.

James Mack and Elizabeth Lilienthal Gerstley family papers, 1867-2003. (Link to the OAC Finding Aid)

YM-YWHA building at 121 Haight Street, SF (housed the YMHA, YWHA, and the Jewish Welfare Board) , 1921 (BANC MSS 2010/699).
